BRILLIANT: CARTIER IN THE 20TH CENTURY (2014-2015)

Icons of style, Art Déco, royal courts and universal inspirations that span India, Persia, Egypt and China, this 29th exhibition of the Cartier Collection explored the major themes of the jeweller's history. This exceptional exhibition presented 254 historic pieces either from the Cartier Collection or loaned by private collectors and official institutions such as the Prince's Palace of Monaco and the Qatar Museums Authority, as well as a selection of 72 original archival documents.

For the first time, emphasis was also placed on men's accessories and smoking accoutrements. Finally, an area entirely dedicated to the workshops showcased the various stages in the creation of a piece, along with Cartier's craftsmanship.
